The Aqua park is located in the Russian city of Vladimir situated 55km from Moscow. The object of the pool hall itself is an extension to an existing abandoned object that will be used as a base facility, wellness and appertaining service premises. The area of the aqua park is directly connected to recreational and sports area comprising playing fields, open stadium and ski tow. The main idea and limit in aqua park mass rendering was the morphology of the terrain and the location of the existing object. Two masses unnoticeably coming out of the contour lines of the terrain stand out of the hilly area and in spite of the water-slide hall do not constitute a barrier in the visual perception of the city silhouette from the nearby stadium. Design focused a great deal on the lighting technology since the passive solar gains play a significant role in this location and with the construction of such type.
